I keep my garden organic-no chemicals or sprays but my husband has just been out and sprayed Round Up around the base of the water faucets, our outdoor fire pit and a little windmill which is about 5 feet away from my herb garden which is in a raised garden box. I had covered the herbs with sheets and they seem fine, but are they safe to eat? Also how close to the area where he sprayed the ground is it safe to plant vegetables or is it safe at all? I sure shed a few tears when I found out how close he got with the spray and now I just wonder if I'll be able to have a garden that's safe to eat from this year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7073336228735412825.post-91522629715680488172011-01-18T12:47:46.363-08:002011-01-18T12:47:46.363-08:00OK, well that might explain why the weeds I spraye...OK, well that might explain why the weeds I sprayed last week are still moderately green - fog & cold. Maybe today's sunshine will speed up their demise. Otherwise I'll have to go out & yank them anyway.

Note to self : Read the ENTIRE label next time !LauraBeehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/laurabell/noreply@blogger.com
