M...Just stumbled across your page, GREAT INFO FRED! Many of the products once used are now no longer available, or are regulated and only available to Fed/State licensed pest control companies. For those who have tried year after year to put an end to your leaf curl woes, I recommend reaching out to local tree companies that have a QAL license. Those companies may have to a product called Phospho-jet which can be directly injected into the cambium layer of the tree, or trunk sprayed with Pentra-bark. The active ingredients in these applications trigger the immune response of the tree, and with proper fertilization and surface watering allow the tree to fight the fungal infection off in short order. The sooner in the season you get to this, the better! once the buds start to leaf, the fungus will have done it's dirty work for the season. If you catch it early, we can make sure there is little impact to any mid season buds and fruiting. Though Yields will always suffer from a weaker tree. My company specializes in these sort of everyday garden pests, and we do it at very reasonable costs and perform free diagnosis and recommendations. Hopefully this will help someone, and thank you for your site, we love what you do! Sacramento Local - www.treehealthsolutions.com love your trees and they will love you back! We even use it in the nursery, not as a preventative, but to treat after we get peach leaf curl. It seems to make the leaves fall off faster and new foliage grows out without the curl. I always recommend doing a foliar spray and water the tree in with it. Too bad they take the good stuff off the market.fernehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17574438827016571137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7073336228735412825.post-65699642557531965562012-04-11T09:13:44.529-07:002012-04-11T09:13:44.529-07:00Thanks for all the useful information. Thanks for all the useful information.MAYBELLINEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09459481721591224275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7073336228735412825.post-36592964767008547702012-04-10T17:38:50.632-07:002012-04-10T17:38:50.632-07:00Peach and nectarine leaf curl has been mostly abat...Peach and nectarine leaf curl has been mostly abated this season. Not much of a problem. But I noticed several cherry blossoms on the Royal Rainier cherry turn a light shade of brown the other day, and now I'm worried.
