Giving them more water just drowns them. Some do a bit better in the shade, but half of my plants won't bloom if they get too much shade. GRRRRRRR. The balancing act that is gardening in Sacramento can be very frustrating!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7073336228735412825.post-74446946340698768572012-06-10T23:46:19.058-07:002012-06-10T23:46:19.058-07:00Rhododendrons and Hydrangeas tend to always slight...Rhododendrons and Hydrangeas tend to always slightly wilt without leaf burn or damage in the heat of summer at my house and they have the perfect amount of water. It just depends on the location, more sun more wilt. If I start to worry I wet down the foliage when I get home on those extra hot days. I have never ever seen a lawn that can only be watered 3 times a week in Auburn after June through August. Maybe a shaded area but never a full sun location.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07317514630599768072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7073336228735412825.post-76127241970163520812011-07-07T15:13:08.469-07:002011-07-07T15:13:08.469-07:00"run them for 3 to 6 hours at a time, twice a..."run them for 3 to 6 hours at a time, twice a week, in the summer..."<br />What?
